Nicola Jhumat, Deputy Director for Kensington and Chelsea, was the first senior leader to champion the Volunteer to Career programme by co-creating the St Charles mental health ward role in 2022. Since then, 46 volunteers have filled the role, with 35 moving into NHS employment. Three years later, we catch up with Nicola to hear her story.
