New Unity and Pride@CNWL held a memorial yesterday to observe Trans Day of Remembrance and acknowledge those who have died by murder or suicide as a result of transphobia. The event included the reading of all the names of trans people who lost their lives to transphobia in the last year. Candles will be used for the remembrance and attendees are asked to wear or bring flowers as a sign of a life lived.
