During the first week of CNWL's Community Services Month, colleagues joined together virtually for an inspiring Quality Improvement (QI) spotlight session.

The event shone a light on some of the outstanding QI initiatives taking place across our services — each one demonstrating our shared commitment to improving care, reducing delays, and enhancing patient experience.

A huge well done to Amanda Fernandes for her fantastic presentation on the Harrow Community Learning Disability Team’s QI project, “Developing a Behaviour Support Pathway in Harrow CLDT: A Quality Improvement Initiative to Reduce Waiting Times and Improve MDT Collaborative Treatment.”
Amanda shared how their project has helped streamline pathways, strengthen multidisciplinary teamwork, and improve support for service users and families.

Congratulations also to Kricia Lewis for leading the impressive Inpatient Prosthetic Pathway/Amputee Project, delivered by the St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit in partnership with NHS organisations. The project demonstrated how collaborative working and innovation can make a real difference to patient outcomes and rehabilitation experiences.

The session was a great opportunity for colleagues to connect, learn and celebrate the ongoing QI work taking place across our organisation.

A big thank you to everyone who presented, attended and supported the event — and to all our teams who continue to drive improvement and deliver outstanding care every day.
