CNWL staff contributed to the Pan-London Forensic Psychiatry Trainees’ Conference 2023 on Friday 20 January.
Held at Health Education England Headquarters in Central London, the event explored a wide range of topics around Prison Psychiatry.
Dr Satinder Sahota, Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and CNWL’s Clinical Director for Offender Care gave an overview the opportunities and challenges that come when delivering prison healthcare.
Dr Catherine Durkin, Clinical Lead Women’s Pathway, then spoke about working with women in the prison environment, before Dr Emily Dobell, Consultant in Public Health, outlined the importance of reducing health inequalities in prison.
