Their participation captured the attention of final-year nursing students, who were notably excited by the chance to explore prison healthcare clinics using VR headsets. Alongside this immersive experience, Penny and Jane facilitated in a workshop and delivered a lecture highlighting Nursing Careers in Health and Justice, both of which resonated plenty of interest with the students.

Reflecting on the day's events, Penny commented,

“What a fantastic day! We were thrilled to shed light on Health and Justice as a vibrant starting point for a nursing career. The breadth and depth of the service make it incredibly engaging, and CNWL offers an exceptional preceptorship program. Many students expressed keen interest in pursuing placements with us. We eagerly anticipate welcoming City, University of London's student nurses for placements within our Health and Justice services later this year".
