On Friday 28 January 2022, London is celebrating its first Great Mental Health Day, encouraging people to talk about mental health and make them aware of the support available to them.

If you are feeling low, depressed, worried or finding it difficult to cope, remember CNWL’s Talking Therapies Services (IAPT) are open and here for you.

Talking therapies provide people with support and treatment to overcome difficulties such as:

  • Low mood or depression
  • Anxiety
  • Fear or phobias
  • Physical health anxiety
  • Stress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Insomnia

They can also support you with managing the practical and emotional aspects of living with long-term physical health conditions; or if you’ve been struggling with the impact of the coronavirus.

We are here for people registered with a GP in Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and Milton Keynes.

If you would like to self-refer to the service visit the Talking Therapies website. You can be referred by your GP or another Health Professional.

Our services have some borough-based sessions running too – the latest is in Hillingdon.

If you or someone you know is based in Hillingdon, the Talking Therapies (IAPT) service in this area is offering online webinars to support you with your wellbeing.

Topics include Mindfulness, Relaxation and Connection. See the list of dates and times below.

  • Worry Management – Wednesday 2 February 2022 (12pm to 1pm)
  • Connecting with others - Wednesday 23 February 2022 (12pm to 1pm)

To access this online series, please check eligibility and complete an online referral.
