Mercy Wasike, Divisional Assistant Director of Nursing received the first Covid-19 vaccine dose last week to protect herself from the virus.
She said: “I chose to have the vaccine as I wanted to make my contribution towards making it possible for me to see my loved ones again including my family and close friends both in the UK and abroad.
I had my first dose, my arm was sore for a day but other than that I have not had any other problems.”
