What is it like for a trans person to navigate their sexuality and wellbeing? What are the barriers for trans people to access sexual health and HIV prevention?

CNWL’s LGBTQ+ network, Pride@CNWL, has invited Michelle Ross, Dominic Reilly and Tom Vlietstra to discuss these questions with us at a virtual event between 6.30pm and 8pm on 30 March 2023.

Introducing our speakers

Michelle Ross is the founder of CliniQ, the UK’s first sexual health and well-being clinic aimed at supporting the trans community and their partners. Michelle is a Psychotherapist and has been involved with sexual health, HIV and well-being for 35 years. She will present on what it means for Sexual Wellbeing for the trans community.

Dr Tom Vlietstra (he/his) is a Clinical Psychologist. He is the Psychology lead at the Sexual Problems Assessment and Treatment Service (SPATS) at the Mortimer Market Centre and Archway. He is also the Lead Psychologist at Surrey Sexual Health. He has previously provided psychological input at Clinic-T in Brighton and has presented at the Trans, Non Binary and Intersex Conference as part of Trans Pride Brighton.
