An article published in the Journal of Behavioural Addictions provides data on who is accessing CNWL’s National Centre for Gaming Disorders.

It shows that between inception and June 2021, the NCGD received 236 referrals; 128 gamers, and 108 family members (104 parents).

The article, published in the form of a Letter to the Editor, is co-written by Becky Harris, Dr Rebecca Lockwood and Professor Henrietta Bowden-Jones OBE – all from the centre – as well as Dr Steve Sharman from the National Addiction Centre, King’s College and Prof Amanda Roberts from the School of Psychology, University of Lincoln.
