CNWL are pleased to announce that Nicola Jhumat has been appointed as our new Interim Assistant Director for Urgent Care in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. Nicola’s predecessor, Kingsley Akuffo, will be starting a secondment as part of his North West London Leadership programme.
Nicola is currently the Urgent Care Senior, working in the Urgent Care Team and managing the community’s access of services and the step down of beds across CNWL boroughs. She also has a background in Occupational Therapy. Nicola says: “I am very excited to start this position within KCW. I am really looking forward to building new working relationships and working collaboratively as a system to provide excellent patient care.”
Nicola will be providing management to the following teams:
- Liaison Psychiatry teams at St Mary’s and Chelsea and Westminster
- Health Psychology Teams at St Mary’s and Chelsea and Westminster
- Home Treatment Teams for Westminster and K&C
- St Charles Health-based Place of Safety and Lounge.
A formal start date is still being agreed upon but I’m sure everyone will join us in wishing Nicola every success in her new role, along with Kingsley on his next secondment.
