On Sunday 16 October for World Restart a Heart Day, CNWL's Resuscitation Team organised an event at the Westway Sports and Fitness Centre in North Kensington.
The team were keen to participate in this worldwide initiative to reach out to the local community and raise awareness of what to do in case of cardiac arrest.
Resuscitation Trainer from CNWL's Safety Team, Zoé Brill Diderich said:
"We reached out to community groups and organisations, with the aim of teaching members of the public how to save a life and the recognition of cardiac arrest, performing adult and paediatric CPR, as well as using a defibrillator.
"The event was a success with over 40 community members joining us. We hope this initiative has helped to raise awareness and even save a few more lives."
