Buckinghamshire Priority Dental Service (BPDS) is a Community Dental Service which has a team of dentists, dental therapists, dental nurses and reception and administrative staff who provide a high standard of care and service to patients in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

Treatment charges and exemptions

Treatment is usually provided on a referral basis. For patients who pay for their dental treatment, NHS standard charges still apply when treatment is provided by the Community Dental Service. Dental treatment is allocated to one of three bands and the charge varies accordingly.

Patients should bring proof of exemption from charges to their appointments. There are some cases where patients may be exempt from some or all of the treatment costs.
