An exhibition opened to staff members on Thursday 18 November, featuring artwork produced by a former patient at Kenton Ward. The event was held at the Kingswood Centre in Brent, and team members were joined by Robyn Doran, our Chief Operating Officer.

For confidentially reasons, we will refer to the patient as Larry throughout this article.

Larry passed away on 30 September 2021 and his funeral held on 10 November. He was an enthusiastic painter, completing many paintings and works of art during his time at Kenton. The exhibition was held in his memory, and featured 35 canvas artworks he developed. Pieces of his work have also been donated to the Woodfield Trauma Service.

All artwork from the exhibition is now available to buy, with proceeds going towards the CNWL NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund (registration number: 1082989). The CNWL Charity covered the funeral expenses for Larry as he has no known family members.

If you would like to purchase an art piece, please submit a donation using CNWL’s Charitable Fund JustGiving page. Donations can be made at your discretion, with the suggested amount for small pieces as £5 and £10 for large pieces. Follow the link below to see pictures of the artwork for sale.
