Over 40 delegates from Brazilian healthcare provider Unimed visited Hawthorn Intermediate Care Unit, reflecting on the changing picture of health and social care and what it looks like in North West London.
The delegation was briefed on a number of CNWL teams including Integrated Discharge, the Bladder and Bowel Service, Rapid Response and Discharge to Assess, District Nursing and community rehabilitation.
Kim Rice, Clinical Service Manager and Professional Lead Nurse said: “The delegates were really impressed by the way the unit and services work in collaboration across providers and are interested in creating a similar model in Brazil.”
