Thursday 14 October is Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Day.

At CNWL we have over 900 AHPs working across our services to maximise the potential for people to live full and active lives at home and in the workplace.

Our AHPs photos At CNWL, our AHPs include:

  • Art Therapists
  • Drama Therapists
  • Music Therapists
  • Podiatrists
  • Dieticians
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists,
  • Speech and Language Therapist

Today, we will be launching AHPTV, a unique way to see some of the remarkable work AHPs do within CNWL and the NHS as a whole.

Use this link (opens powerpoint) to click on our AHPTV remote control to view the various programmes. You may spot some local AHPs amongst the broadcasts. If the buttons don't work for you use this document to get the links.

AHPs make up a third of the NHS workforce and there are so many opportunities here at CNWL to join our teams.

If you're thinking about training as an AHP then take a look at the films and get in touch or look on our work for us page to find out more about the roles currently available at the Trust. The AHPTV links include interviews with staff on what it's like to work in the various roles at CNWL.

Each year CNWL holds a conference too for our AHP and therapy staff to come together and mark their achievements with an award ceremony.
