Today our Chief Nurse, Maria O'Brien, and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Cornelius Kelly, visited staff working in nursing and therapy support roles to thank them for all they do every day as part of Healthcare Support Worker Day and highlight the vital contribution they make.

"We want to thank them on behalf of the Trust Board for their commitment and incredible work for our patients daily – they really are the frontline."
Today, we also held an online roadshow for CNWL nursing and therapy staff where they could discuss personal and professional development and hear from some of our wonderful support workers.
The event concluded by announcing the winners of the CNWL support workers awards (open to nursing and AHP support workers)

Pictured left is Brent community connector, Sunita Patel, who was presented with an award as the healthcare support worker who ‘goes above and beyond for patients’ today by Jenny Lanyero, Brent Health Inequalities Team Lead and Jim O'Donnell, Assistant Director of Nursing for the Trust's Jameson Divison.
On presenting the award, Jenny Lanyero said "Sunita has been recognised for all her hard work and dedication and I’m so pleased for her and very proud of her."
