Thursday 2 March, 6pm on Zoom - BOOK HERE

Treatment for people living with HIV has improved dramatically over recent years – as has our knowledge of how to fight and prevent it. Dr Laura Waters, CNWL's HIV and Hepatitis Lead, Chair of the British HIV Association and HIV Treatment Advisor at NHS England, will be joining this webinar with CNWL Lead Governor, Cllr Ketan Sheth, to discuss the myths and misconceptions surrounding HIV.at the start of March to discuss how we can stop HIV from being a barrier to good health and equality.

We'll also be remembering Chris Sandford, a CNWL Governor and Peer Support Worker, who dedicated his life to helping others with HIV before sadly passing away in November last year.

You can read Dr Waters' tribute to Chris here: www.cnwl.nhs.uk/news/remembering-chris-sandford

Please join us at 5.50pm for a 6pm start. After booking you will be able to access the Zoom link through Eventbrite - it will also be sent via email the day before the lecture. There will be plenty of time for Q&A during the event, but please note that we will be unable to answer questions about individuals' personal circumstances.
