Melinda Schneider started as CNWL’s professional Head of Psychotherapy at the beginning of March. She will lead a diverse group of professionals including psychoanalytic, integrative and systemic family therapists.
Melinda has worked in the Brent Psychotherapy service in CNWL for many years. She initially trained as a clinical psychologist, but then later as a psychoanalyst.
Ryan Kemp, Director of Therapies, said: “Psychotherapists are a small but vital staff group found across our services, in mental health, prisons, learning disabilities and in children’s services and the Head of Psychotherapy will bring this group together, increasing their learning opportunities, setting standards and improving outcomes for patients.”
Melinda will do this role one day a week, while continuing her clinical work in Brent.
