Help us help you man.pngToday, 17 January, the NHS has launched the next phase of its national campaign on mental health services – Help Us Help You.

The campaign aims to increase awareness and encourage people struggling with mental health issues like anxiety and depression to get help through NHS talking therapies (IAPT). CNWL is part of the national NHS ‘Improving Access to Psychological Therapies’ (IAPT) service in Central and North West London, and in Milton Keynes.

Anyone can access the service either by referral from their GP, or by self-referral. Find out more on the NHS website.

Mental health is important at every stage of our lives and can affect us in many ways. We’re supporting this national campaign and want to remind people that CNWL’s Talking Therapies Services (IAPT) is also open and here for you.

Talking therapies provide people with support and treatment to overcome difficulties such as low mood, depression or anxiety. They can also support you with managing the practical and emotional aspects of living with long-term physical health conditions; or if you’ve been struggling with the impact of the coronavirus.

If you would like to self-refer to the service visit the Talking Therapies website. You can be referred by your GP or another Health Professional.

Our services have some borough-based sessions running too – the latest is in Hillingdon
