Our CNWL Charity have been busy visiting sites this week, delivering wellbeing boxes for staff working on Christmas Day. This is the first Christmas Appeal the charity has run with almost £6,000 raised from the public towards the boxes. Andrew Machin, Associate Director of Charity Finance and Governance, and Neil Harman, Charity Development Director visited 40 sites, 129 services and delivered 1,049 boxes to say thank you to our staff.
The wellbeing boxes were welcomed by many staff across the Trust, including Fred Nxumalo, Rapid Response Team Lead in Ickenham. He said “These are highly appreciated and valued”.

This Christmas, we will be using 800 beds for patients, and will be 100% full on Christmas Day. We will have 935 kind and committed doctors, nurses, therapists and other staff on the frontline, working hard to care for these patients. They will give up their own celebrations to spend the day caring for our patients.
