The CNWL NHS Health Charity launches its Christmas appeal today (Monday 6 November) to thank NHS staff for all they do, particularly over winter.
Every year, our staff go above and beyond, willingly sacrificing their Christmas Day to care for patients at your local NHS services.
The CNWL NHS Health charity provides vital extra support and resources each year to make all the difference to the health and wellbeing of both patients and staff.
This Christmas, we will have 935 kind and committed doctors, nurses, therapists and other staff on the frontline, working hard to care for patients.
We’re asking those who can, to donate £12 to buy a Wellbeing Box for one of our 935 dedicated staff to open on Christmas Day.

Inside the wellbeing box, our staff will find:
• Hot chocolate
• Scented balm
• Love hearts
• Biscuits
• Coffee and tea
• Mints
• Puzzle cube and more.
We know that what our patients want most is to be with their families, especially on Christmas Day, so we pull out all the stops to make the festive season here as happy and vibrant as we possibly can.
Our charity also supports our staff by paying for things like comfortable rest spaces so that they can unwind after a challenging shift.
