Tom Shearer is CNWL’s new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Executive Director. He replaces Hannah Witty who is moving to run the finances at NHS England London Region.
The role has a broad portfolio; as well financial operations, the role covers Business Intelligence, our Estates and the Trust Charity.
Tom is a chartered Management Accountant, and has worked in various roles in NHS finance for the last 13 years, most recently being Site Chief Financial Officer at St Georges’s Hospital in Tooting.
“I can’t wait to get started at CNWL, and support the Trust as best I can through a challenging period for the NHS. I’m fascinated by the diverse range of outstanding services provided by the Trust, and look forward to learning more about them as I embark on this new chapter at CNWL.”

Tom lives in Teddington with his wife, who works in Talking Therapy services in Kingston, and their two boys, aged 3 and 5.
“My main interest outside of work (when I’m not running around after my boys) is sport of all kinds; playing and watching.”
