“We are so proud and humbled by the recognition this amazing team have received, which is less than a year old. They have given their best with every patient. The philosophy being that the care is about individualised for the patient, that we have a ‘can do’ work ethic and that dying is made dignified and normal where the person and their loved ones wish to be.

We have many stories that are heart-warming, sad and compassionate, we have collaborated with all across the palliative community to work seamlessly, successfully, and have built an excellent ‘go too’ reputation.

This award it so very important for Milton Keynes, and the team as it is a statement that the public appreciate the care delivered, that as a new team we have made a massive impact on the dying community and built a cohesive compassionate team where nothing is too much trouble.”
