CNWL’s Quality Trusted Solution (QTS) Team got together at the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining today to celebrate National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day.

The away day was a chance for our Estates staff to bond and reflect on their achievements over the past year, as well as look forward to what’s in store for the next 12 months.

Attendees participated in team-building exercises throughout the day and received updates from different Estates teams, finishing with a well-being session and celebration.

CNWL’s Chief Executive, Claire Murdoch, was one of several leaders from around the Trust who recorded a thank you message for staff.

She said: “I cannot tell you, from my 40 years in the NHS, how important the environments are that our staff are working in and that our patients are cared for within.

“So much skill, expertise and sheer hard work goes on behind the scenes to make sure the estate, those environments, are as good as they can possibly be and as our patients deserve.

“And colleagues across CNWL who are working on the estate, I just want to say a huge thank you to you.”
