Rosni Prajapati, Kensington and Chelsea Home Treatment Team Manager has been sending her son to the school since he was 3 years old.

London welsh school.pngYsgol Gymraeg Llundain or The London Welsh School is the only Welsh-English bilingual school in England based in West London (Hanwell).

The school provides full-time education to children from 3 to 11yrs.  The atmosphere in the school is that of a vibrant and happy Welsh village school and, as a small school, we are able to provide tailor made individual teaching with outstanding pastoral care.

In the Early Years, education is in Welsh (with English phonics taught in addition to Welsh) and in Years 3,4,5 and 6 lessons are taught in Welsh and English. The pupils are fully bi-lingual when they leave which has a very positive impact on learning third and fourth languages.  We are rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted.

We have strong links with Wales, competing in the Urdd Eisteddfod and going to the Urdd Centre in Llangrannog.  Dewch i ymweld i brofi llwyddiant a llawenydd addysg Gymraeg yn Llundain.  Come to see for yourself the 'success and joy of Welsh education in London'.
