Gareth Jarvis, Medical Director for CNWL’s Jameson Division, has pledged to prioritise the prevention of domestic abuse on behalf of men’s voices.
In a video, which is available here, Gareth points out that men are often largely absent from domestic abuse prevention spaces, and urges others to recognise it as a cross-gender conversation that involves both men and women and boys and girls.
He says that we all might know someone subject to or the perpetrator of domestic abuse and that it is up to each of us to stand up to it wherever possible.
