The study she presented is part of her wider research on the vestibular system and the risk of falls in older adults.

The vestibular system is the inner ear and is responsible for about 25% of balance control in healthy adults. It is known to deteriorate with age, but what impact that has on falls risk is not fully understood.

Hannah is completing her PhD at Brunel University where she has a fellowship from Brunel Partners Academic Centre for Health Sciences.
