Helen Willetts, who recently retired from CNWL, attended the Trees of Life Service of Remembrance for Covid-19 in Wesminster Abbey.

She said "I was honoured to be able to represent CNWL at the Trees of Life Service of Remembrance for Covid-19 in Westminster Abbey. The multi faith service was to bless trees that will form part of the Covid-19 memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum."

"The service was beautiful and moving, remembering those we have lost and thanking the many key workers who, to quote the Dean of Westminster “gave courage, skill and selflessness to many and put the needs of others above their own comfort.”

"Michael Rosen was present and shared his poem ‘These are the hands’. Key workers from the LAS, Royal Army Reserves and supermarkets asked us not to forget, to heal and to continue to contribute and flourish."

"The trees will bear witness to the losses we faced as well as the resilience we have shown."
