Do you have an interest in safety and would you like to improve the experience of people who use our services?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join the CNWL Safety Team as a Clinical Tutor for the Therapeutic Management and Prevention of Violence and Aggression.

We are one of only a few Trusts’ in the country that employ full time tutors who are experts by way of experience. We are incredibly proud of this and are looking for someone who will embrace this model and work collaboratively to improve the experience of people who use our services.

Working as part of a recovery focused team that delivers both training and expert advice to clinicians, you will play a central role in our ambition to end violence across our services.

Violence reduction is quality priority for CNWL and we have set ourselves an ambitious target to reduce incidents of violence over the next three years. Violence not only affects the well-being of our staff, it also has a significant impact on the experience of people who use our services.

As part of your role, you will not only deliver training but also help shape the content and way in which this is done. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to inspire people to do things differently. You will be a key player in the work we do to implement our Violence Reduction strategy and will use your clinical experience to influence and support change.

Deadline to apply is 26 June 2022.
