Congratulations to the Vincent Square Inpatient Eating Disorders Service, which has received its accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Quality network for Eating Disorders.
It means that all stakeholders and service users can be assured of the quality of the service it is providing as a specialist unit.
To receive this accreditation meant the service had to go through a rigorous review process last year to highlight that high standards of care required by the network were being met.
The network works with services to assure and improve the quality of specialist treatment for patients presenting with eating disorders.
From L-R: ward manager Liz Walsh, lead nurse Kuda Kali and lead OT Camilla Finch.
Lead Nurse Kuda Kali, who led the team throughout the process, said: “The team is very proud and excited about this achievement as it also comes in the middle of 18 months of high acuity on the ward.”
