CNWL's Employment Services has launched a new website to promote the role of an Employment Specialist and how to join their team.

The website in partnership with West London NHS Trust showcases the work of Employment Specialists across both Trusts, who support people with mental health conditions back into work.

You can read experiences about what it means to work as an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialist and current job opportunities to apply for.

CNWL first set up its Employment Services in 2004 and has since supported over 2,000 people into paid employment in a range of industries.

Rash Patel, CNWL Head of Employment, Volunteering and Recovery and Wellbeing College said: “I’m pleased to say employment is seen as a health outcome in our service and we work with our colleagues to support people in transition from being unemployed to being a valuable member of the community and society.

We all know being in the right job is good for our mental health and that’s why the team are so passionate about what they do. I’m so proud of what we have achieved and I’m committed to doing more to ensure many more service users find and keep work.”

Rash said: “We are looking for people with the right attitude and values which align to our Trusts, we provide you with support and training to help you along the way. Come and join our ever growing team – I guarantee you’ll find the role rewarding too.”
