After an astonishing 43-year nursing career, CNWL’s Jillian Nutsford is leaving the Trust today to enjoy her retirement.

Jillian first qualified as a nurse in 1980 and, after spending time working in Saudi Arabia, Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, joined Milton Keynes Community Health Services in 1996.Jillian.jpg

In her time with us, she has worked in the Community in MK Team and the High Impact Team.

Jillian actually retired once before in 2017 but, never one to sit still, she chose to return to the bank, regularly working up to 33 hours per week with the Community Nursing and Home 1st Rapid Response Teams.

Hannah Cole, Home 1st Urgent Community Response (UCR) Manager, said: “Jillian’s dedication to the profession is second to none, always providing expert and excellent nursing care.

“Jillian, a truly great nurse is hard to find, difficult to part with and impossible to forget.

“We wish you a joyful retirement spent with your family and beautiful granddaughter; you will be sorely missed.”
