CNWL has announced that Penny Leese is its new Head of Nursing for Health and Justice Services.

Penny said, “Having qualified in 2000 (at Nottingham University) as an adult nurse and then as a midwife, I spent over a decade in community services, Sexual Health Services and Primary Care.

“I’ve always felt a strong pull towards caring for the most vulnerable in society and consequently found my niche in Health and Justice, where my work has been so varied and provided me with opportunities to develop my skills both clinically and operationally.

“I’m excited about my new role as Health and Justice Head of Nursing and to work with our dedicated nurses; ensuring our teams have the skills, structures and confidence to provide high quality care and really make a difference.

“When not at work you'll find me out doors and close to nature. I enjoy long walks with my two dogs and cycle rides.

"I'm completely obsessed with my new e-bike, best purchase ever. I've two passions, food and traveling; a perfect match.”
