As part of a Trust initiative to raise awareness of the challenges in resuscitating women, CNWL's Resuscitation Team want to collect your old bras.  

One of the greatest barriers in resuscitating women is their anatomy, and research has indicated they are less likely to survive as there is a delay in resuscitation.

Public perception has pointed to the fact that this could be due to fear and cultural taboos around touching. Our aim is to challenge gender biased resuscitation training, and to overcome some of the barriers we have regarding the availability of female manikins.

Therefore, we are calling out for you to send in your old bras, which will be used on manikins during resuscitation training, in order to normalise the experience.
