Not all heroes wear capes…
…but this lot do!
CNWL’s Tissue Viability Team in Hillingdon dressed up in support of International Stop The Pressure Day on 16 November.
The day’s main objective is to raise awareness of pressure injury prevention and to educate the NHS staff and the public on this topic.
As well as donning their super suits, the team took part in a conference at the Civic Centre.
Michelle Dyer, Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist said: “There was a great turnout with fantastic presentations in the morning and interaction sessions in the afternoon with quizzes and games – and of course prizes!
“The team were also busy in clinic as pressure prevention heroes providing education and health promotion to patients attending clinic and other teams in the building.”
