The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has produced a leaflet, providing updates on the Grenfell Tower wrapping.

It has details of upcoming work on the rewrapping of the tower, scheduled for mid-February. They’ll be replacing the outer layer wrapping on a floor-by-floor basis, and expect this to take about 10 weeks. Though, this timescale will depend on the weather.

MHCLG maintains the site, keeping in enclosed in two layers of protective wrapping. The outside layer of the wrapping needs to be updated once a year.

The leaflet provides answers to some of the questions that residents may have about the tower’s rewrapping.

You can read the leaflet here.

There are a number of ways to keep up to date on the wrapping work, including email the site management team on GrenfellTowerSite@communities.gov.uk or calling them on  0303 444 0011.

There’s more information on how to get in touch in the leaflet.
