We want to acknowledge that many people experience pregnancy and baby loss and this effects the individual as well as the whole family.

Within CNWL, the Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service provides support to this group of women and pregnant people who may be presenting with mental health difficulties arising from the reproductive journey.

In this Year of the Child webinar, we will cover pregnancy and baby loss and the impact this can have on individuals and their families. It will offer suggestions and guidance about processing grief and self-care.

Resources and signposting to other third sector organisations will also be provided.

There will time after the presentation for Q&A with the panel of presenters.

This webinar is suitable for healthcare professionals who support or might come into contact with this group of individuals. Staff who may have or have been going through these experiences are welcome to attend, including managers who may be supporting them.

The training will be delivered by Dr Sara Szydlowski (Clinical Psychologist), Laura Oliver (Specialist Midwife), Olga Proctor (Specialist Midwife) and Dr Kim Tang (Specialist Perinatal Consultant Psychiatrist).
