STOMP (Stomp the Over Medication of People with learning disability, autism or both) and STAMP (Supporting Treatment and Appropriate Medication in Paediatrics) 

This course provides information about STOMP/STAMP, the use of psychotropic medication in people with learning disability and alternative options for managing behaviour that challenges.

This is aimed at staff who want to learn more about NHS England STOMP/STAMP initiatives

  • Describe what a psychotropic medication is and when it should be prescribed

  • Describe the potential negative effectives prescribing of these medications can have

  • Describe alternative to medications

No qualifications or experience required. 

Staff can complete the e-learning package on LDZ.
