Hillingdon Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service assesses, treats and manages acute and long term conditions, and cognitive and swallowing problems.

The team provides outpatient services at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, and the Warren Health Centre in Hayes.
Where patients are unable to access outpatient appointments, the service makes domiciliary (home) visits. Carers are often encouraged to attend therapy sessions.
Inpatient services are available at Mount Vernon Hospital.
The service is for patients aged 16 and over who are registered with a Hillingdon general practitioner (GP), and patients who are resident within the borough but have a GP outside of the borough (except Ealing).
The service accepts referrals from GPs or other healthcare professionals. It also accepts self-referrals. Referrals can be made by referral form, letter (sent by fax or post), and telephone.

The service operates from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays (appointments only).
