For nearly 25 years, Collingham Child and Family Centre has provided a setting for intensive and comprehensive inpatient assessment and treatment for young people.
The centre provides a seven days a week CAMHS inpatient service for children and young people aged between five and 13 years of age presenting with a wide range of complex and severe mental health problems in a sympathetic, containing and supportive environment.
We are proud of the work we have done with many hundreds of families through changing times, both for the NHS and society’s challenges for vulnerable children, families and the devoted professionals who try to help make a difference to their lives and functioning in the community.
Working in partnership with children, families and community based professionals is at the very centre of our thinking and practice.
The centre works closely with family and professionals to understand a child’s needs and to support children and their families.
