  • Regional driving Assessment Centre (sometimes known as RDAC). You can have an on-road assessment of your ability to drive with a health condition or disability.
  • Disabled Bus Pass - Information on applying for a Disabled Persons bus pass.
  • Blue Badge allows parking in Disabled bays which are usually wider and closer to facilities.
  • MK connect door to door transport system across Milton Keynes. If registered as Disabled, you can get other benefits and disable vehicle
  • Driving with medical conditions, Blue Badges and transport for disabled people -  condition specific information from the government regarding regarding driving/return to driving

  • Community Head Injury Service (CHIS) support people with acquired head and brain injuries with returning to work

  • Age UK are a national organisation offering a variety of support to older people age over 55.
  • The Age UK Advice Line 0800 678 1602 is Free to call 8am – 7pm - 365 days a year.  They also have a local branch in Milton Keynes who provide a variety of supports and services

Willen Hospice

  • Milton Keynes Council provide a range of local services and information
  • Milton Keynes Adult Social Care. Their social services department known as the adult social care team can support you with social care needs for example difficulties managing at home, or carers to help with personal care. You can call them on 01908 253 772 or email Access.Team@Milton-Keynes.gov.uk
  • Falls and Seizure Alarms - Wearable alarms in case you need to call for help. You can also read more on the NHS website.

  • Milton Keynes Sensory Service (sometimes known as SARC) provide a number of information and support services for people with sight and hearing loss
  • Milton Keynes Centre for Integrated Living offer disability related information and advice including help to complete disability benefit forms.
  • National Key Scheme - The National Key Scheme to use toilets (sometimes known as RADAR) offers people with disability independent access to locked public toilets around the country. Keys are available from Milton Keynes Centre for Integrated Living 
  • Can’t Wait Scheme - The can’t wait scheme is a toilet access card scheme giving access to toilets not normally available to the general public
  • Message in a Bottle - The message in a bottle scheme is run by the Lions Club.  It is designed to help emergency service workers to identify medical information quickly.  You complete a form with personal and medical information and put it in a special tub in your fridge, and put the related sticker by your door so emergency workers know to find it.  Further information can be found on the Lions website
  • Integrated Falls Prevention Service (Milton Keynes) - Provide assessment and treatment for older individuals in their own homes and exercise groups in the community to reduce the risk of falls
  • P3 Live Life - Support in accessing the local community and social activities
  • Apple Milton Keynes - Can offer support with setting up your apple devices and enabling accessibility features for example voice control, assistive touch and adapting display and text size.
