We are pleased to announce the successful pilot of the new simulation room at Beaufort House.

This marks the first time this facility was utilised, offering an innovative and immersive environment for MDT training. All in attendance pulled together to make the day a success, here is some feedback from the day:

The inaugural session featured scenarios from the Recognising and Assessing Medical Problems in Psychiatric Settings (RAMPPS) course, designed to enhance critical decision-making and team working skills in identification and management of a deteriorating patients physical health in the psychiatric care setting.

Feedback from participants highlighted the realism of the simulations and the value of interprofessional learning.

"The debrief went well with great discussions."

"I'm now really confident in my vital signs and physical health."

"Everyone worked together to make the day work, everyone both faculty and participants learned from each other."

Building on this success, the RAMPPS the ambition is this course will be held 4-6 weekly in the Beaufort House simulation room.

This initiative underscores our commitment to advancing healthcare education and improving patient outcomes.
