A case study by the Council for Disabled Children looks at how The London Borough of Camden and four NHS Trusts – Whittington Health NHS Trust, Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and CNWL came together to form Camden Integrated Children’s Service (CICS).

The integrated model of care has been operational since October 2014, and the case study highlights in detail the factors that supported the success of CICS. The study uses an implementation science framework and sets out a key timeline of the process, acknowledging the challenges and consequences of implementing the service.
