Last Friday Cate Latto led the One Community Radio’s celebrations of International Women’s Day, in what was an uplifting and empowering show.
Kim Cox, Jameson Director of Nursing kicked off the show and Cassie Ballison, Ward Manager on Shannon Ward, discussed the latest CNWL Women’s Network updates.
Susan Bray, CNWL's Safeguarding Lead and Holly Thomas, Domestic Abuse Coordinator joined Cate in an honest, open and heartfelt discussion on Domestic Abuse.
Leading make-up professional Tash Devedlaka and Shannon Ward Staff, Cassie, Aroosa and the nursing team talked about Beautiful People, which is a One Community project that helps patients feel good about themselves while they’re in hospital.
Our lovely regular guests joined us, Laura Cavill our Poet Laureate, Evvy Miller reading Life of Pi and writer Stewart Permutt read a poem by Dorothy Parker.
