Two Trust staff members have contributed to a journal article featured on the website SpringerLink.
Dr Jordi Serra-Mestre, Consultant Psychiatrist at the Department of Old Age Psychiatry and Marco Isetta, Head of Technology-enhanced Learning, Library and Knowledge Services, were among the authors of the paper on Catatonia in pediatric obsessive–compulsive disorder: report of two cases.
The paper discusses Catatonia and how it may occur.
It says that in pediatrics, this condition is rare and is associated with high morbidity and mortality if not correctly diagnosed and treated.
