Commenting on Janet’s nomination, Head of Quality Improvement Bridget Browne said:
“Janet has made a substantial impact at both local and national levels to improve mental health services through her leadership, advocacy, and training.
As a founding member of CNWL’s Improvement Academy Board and the Trustwide Mortality Review Group, she has played a central role in embedding quality improvement (QI) across the organisation.
Her influence has been pivotal in increasing involvement in CNWL’s 18-ward inpatient collaborative to improve therapeutic observation and engagement, advocating for meaningful involvement of patients and carers from the outset.”
Dr Jovanka Tolmac Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Clinical Lead Young Adult Partnership (YAP) said:
“Over the past year the YAP contributed to two important projects - setting up the Discovery College and developing the first round of courses tailored to young adults and developing the new peer support roles for young adults.
