CQC place us as ‘about the same’ as other mental health services in all areas, except for ‘feedback’ where we are better than the average.

Maria O’Brien, Chief Nurse, said: “Thanks to all the people who responded and I note that scores have improved since 2019 but there is more we can do to improve patient experience.

“As our community mental health services settle into new ways of working patients should notice more joined-up care, with mental health professionals and GPs working together so that physical and mental health needs are both well met.

“We are also doing more to make sure that patients (and where helpful, their loved ones or carers) have a greater say in care plans, deciding together what interventions would be most helpful to the person at that time. We can do better by working with you.”
