CNWL will be hosting its third Domestic Abuse conference on 9 December 2020, this time virtually!

Susan Bray, Named Professional for Safeguarding Children (Mental Health), said,

“This Covid year has been difficult for everyone but particularly devastating for those experiencing Domestic Abuse.

The conference will explore this - looking in more detail at those most affected - amongst both our patients and staff-  and the importance of our responses.

The conference is always hugely popular and we can accommodate a larger number of delegates.

Nicole Jacobs (Domestic Abuse Commissioner, England and Wales) has again agreed to headline and as always we will have a range of powerful speakers - including a number speaking from lived experience.

We continue to make great progress in improving our response to Domestic Abuse - and have now recruited over 70 Domestic Abuse Ambassadors who fly the flag for awareness about Domestic Abuse, locally and across the Trust. We are so pleased to continue to move forward with their support in the coming year.”
