Dr Satinder Sahota (pictured, left) is the new Clinical Director for CNWL Offender Care, which provides primary care, substance misuse and mental health services at male and female prisons and young offender institutions in London, Milton Keynes and south-east England. In addition they provide low secure services and court Liaison and diversion services to four London boroughs and Milton Keynes. He replaces Dr Shamir Patel who is moving to another Trust.
Dr Sahota started working as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist in KCW FoCuS over 10 years ago. He has worked as a forensic psychiatrist in medium secure rehabilitation, HDU, and adolescent services. Over the last five years, Dr Sahota has worked as a manager as Clinical Lead for the Male Medium Secure Service in West London. Dr Sahota has played a central role on quality improvement, helping to improve patient pathways in forensic inpatient care, and has contributed to improving standards in prisons as member of NHSE Prison CAG.
Dr Sahota said: "I am proud and feel honoured to be joining CNWL, at an exciting time for Offender Care".

Dr Sahota spends his time away from work running, reading, cooking, cycling and playing golf.
