Ealing Community Partners celebrates its first anniversary today (1 July) with a series of virtual ‘drop-in’ events for staff - recognising many people are working remotely - as well as a socially distanced tea party at Clayponds Hospital. They've also put together a short video summarising the first year’s achievements.
Ealing Community Partners is a group of NHS, Ealing Council and voluntary organisations working together to deliver community health and care services for the people of Ealing. The partnership is led by West London NHS Trust.
The creation of Ealing Community Partners brought together more than 800 staff and has delivered over 100,000 episodes of care in the last 12 months.
Carolyn Regan, Chief Executive of West London NHS Trust, said:
“Happy birthday and well done to all colleagues working as part of Ealing Community Partners. The first year has been a success and shows that a template of collaborative working across different organisations and different sectors can work for delivering high quality community health services.”
Zoe Sargent, CNWL Associate Director of Children's Service said:
"I wish all of the staff and services who transferred to us on 1 July last year a very happy first anniversary! It has been a pleasure getting to know our children’s teams and work with them to develop new ways of working to support the children and families of Ealing. Now the we are into a restore and thrive phase of our Covid planning I am sure we will be able to continue to make service improvements that will benefit our staff and children alike.”
Graeme Caul, Manging Director for Goodall took part in a virtual meeting to mark the occasion. He said:
"I am proud for CNWL to be part of a great partnership. The success of our referral hub, how we have learned lots from them and I thank them for their commitment and resilience through Covid19".
